PXT Select Expert Practitioner Certification
The PXT Select Expert Practitioner Certification takes your knowledge to a deeper level, giving you the content expertise and strategies you need to become an expert on how to use and implement this powerful tool in your workplace. During this program, participants will learn:
- How PXT can support an organization’s talent management strategy
- Methods for using the PXT Select assessment, performance models, and other supporting reports for talent selection and development
- How to implement PXT Select with confidence
Learners who complete this course are eligible for 12 SHRM Professional Development Credits (PDCs) once they complete the course.

What to expect:
Through this course, you will learn how PXT will fit into an overall hiring process and demonstrate proficiency using the PXT Select assessment, performance models, and reports during a candidate selection process. This course is designed to be practical so you can apply what you learned immediately as you roll out your organization’s hiring procedures. Ultimately, this course is designed to give you confidence when using PXT in your hiring process.
Course Requirements
During this course, participants must commit to three weeks of self-directed and instructor-led work (approximately 2-3 hours per week). To get the most out of this course, we want to encourage all participants to be active in all three live sessions (instructor-led). Learners should strive to complete all self-paced work on time so they can get the most out of the live sessions. Finally, there is a final exam. We hope all learners strive to achieve a passing score on the final exam.

- Session Two: April 13, 2022, @10am CST – Apply the PXT Select
- Session Three: April 20, 2022, @10am CST – The Expert Practitioner
To successfully complete this program, learners must join each session and complete the self-paced work between each session.

- Session One: May 11, 2022 @ 3:00 pm CST – Beyond the Basics
- Session Two: May 18 2022 @ 3:00 pm CST – Apply the PXT Select
- Session Three: May 25 2022 @ 3:00 pm CST – The Expert Practitioner

Course Objectives
The PXT Select certification course will teach and require learners to know how the PXT Select assessment fits into an organization’s talent management strategy, and how to successfully implement it within their organization. This course will help any participate become proficient using the PXT Select assessment, performance models, and the suite of reports in candidate selection and development.
Finally, learners will demonstrate the ability to effectively partner with stakeholders to analyze an organization’s needs and design the most appropriate solution that utilizes the PXT Select solution to make talent decisions with confidence. This course includes:
- Self-directed online learning, over the course of three weeks
- Weekly 90-minute, instructor-led, virtual sessions
- Small group work and discussions to explore real-life scenarios
- Capstone presentation project to demonstrate your learning
- A final Certification Exam
- Upon successful completion of the program, participants receive the credential of PXT Select Certified Expert Practitioner

You may cancel registration with no penalty more than seven (7) calendar days prior to the posted course open date. (Participants receive online access on the course open date, and live sessions, if any, begin seven days after.)

Substituting with a different participant will be allowed if the course has not yet opened. No substitutions will be accepted after the course begins.
