Management Training: Delegating

Delegating is designed to teach managers and supervisors the skills they need to delegate effectively. The course offers skill-based practice so participants learn what is needed to delegate effectively. Managers and supervisors will learn about various obstacles they may encounter when trying to delegate. Published by Vital Learning, Delegating can be used on its own as a stand-alone management training course. It is just one course that is part of a 12-module series called the Leadership Essentials Series.

This course will cover the following topics:

• What projects leaders should delegate
• Who should leaders delegate tasks to
• How to delegate authority

The course also includes activities and exercises that allow participants to practice their delegation skills.
